Altra was created for one reason, to stop pain occurring from traditional running shoes. They build athletic performance running shoes for long distances and to avoid the foot problems that re now common with minimalist shoes. We test our shoes to ensure comfort�whether running for 30 minutes or 30 hours. We want people run better and realize that there are zero limits to what they can accomplish.
